The annual Suzanne Aubert Celebration day is celebrated on the first Sunday in October closest to the anniversary of her death (October 1st 1926). In 2020 this will be held on Sunday 4th October.

This video from the Suzanne Aubert Website gives a short overview of her inspiring life.

The purpose of this important national day of celebration is to have many more people learn of the spirituality and good works of Venerable Suzanne Aubert and to be inspired by what she did and what she achieved. It also provides all Catholics the opportunity to commit to praying that the church will soon recognise this remarkable woman of great faith, as a Saint.

Te Rau Aroha

Tēnei mātou, this is us

No te Rau Aroha, from Te Rau Aroha

Te Rohe Pīhopa o Te Papaioea the Diocese of Palmerston North

E karanga atu nei the call which goes out

E tū atu nei that stands

Tuku reo aroha for the love (also a reference to our place Te Rau Aroha)

Huia, tuia, tui, tuia that gathers us and binds us

Tuia, hui e taiki ee binding us

Hui e, Taiki e. Together. Amen.
