Or perhaps someone comes to mind a cantor, musician, choir member, or someone in your parish whose worship naturally draws others into prayer. Someone for whom music is a meaningful way of meeting God, and whose heart for worship quietly strengthens the faith of those around them. Someone who might truly flourish with the right formation and support.
Across our parishes, many people serve faithfully in music and worship yet often feel unsure about how to grow their gifts or lead with greater confidence. The desire is already there. They simply need guidance, encouragement, and a pathway forward.
The One Hope Project Academy offers this pathway.
What is the Academy?
The Academy is a six-month online worship school for adults of any age who want to grow in prayer, confidence, and practical ability to serve their communities through worship. You do not need to be an expert musician. You simply need a love for Jesus and a desire to be formed.
Participants receive:
- Weekly formation on worship, prayer, Scripture, creativity, and listening to the Holy Spirit
- A mentor who accompanies their spiritual growth
- A practical manager who supports development in whichever area they most need
- Online group sessions (fortnightly) that build community, reflection, and shared learning
At its heart, the Academy is not about performance. It is about forming people who can help others encounter Jesus through worship in a prayerful, authentic, and Spirit-led way.
Who is it for?
The Academy is ideal for:
- Anyone who loves worship and wants to grow
- Parish musicians or singers
- People who help lead prayer in small groups, youth groups, or communities
- Adults of any age who feel drawn to worship ministry
- Those who sense a call but don’t yet have confidence or training
- Anyone who wants to strengthen their relationship with Jesus through music and prayer
