This weekend, we observe the Jubilee of Prisoners, acknowledging the humanity, dignity, and worth of all those who are incarcerated.

For all who work in the justice system, including prison staff, chaplains, and volunteers, that they may be guided by wisdom, mercy, and compassion in their roles. May they be instruments of God’s love, bringing light and hope to those in their care. E te Ariki …
Closing of the Year of Jubilee
Sunday 1 Feb 2026
Join us as we gather for the Closing Mass of the Jubilee Year, celebrated by Bishop John.
After Mass, stay and enjoy fellowship with food and fun! Bring along your picnic blankets, chairs, water, and snacks to make the day comfortable.
There will be activities for children and a joyful atmosphere for all. Let’s come together as a diocesan family to give thanks and celebrate this special year of grace and hope.
