The Hope and Renewal Summit was just the beginning.

Over two days, more than 500 Catholics gathered in Palmerston North to listen, pray, and dream together about the future of our Church. Now, the real work begins — in our parishes, our communities, and our hearts.

We want to hear from you.

  • What was your parish or group takeaway from the Summit?
  • How did the Holy Spirit speak to you during those days?
  • What new vision is beginning to stir in your heart for your parish or community?
  • How are you planning to breathe new life into your community of faith?

Whether it was a moment of clarity during a keynote, a conversation that sparked hope, or a prayer that moved you deeply — your experience matters. By sharing your story, you can inspire others and help us all discern the Spirit’s movement across the Diocese.

We’re inviting written reflections, short testimonies, and photos from the Summit to be featured in upcoming editions of Tūmanako and on diocesan platforms.

Send your contributions to communications@pndiocese.org.nz by Friday 31 October.

Let’s continue to reimagine the Church together — one parish, one story, one Spirit-led step at a time.

Hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
