The Catholic Education Office, on behalf of the Diocese of Palmerston North, invites all staff in support roles in our parishes and schools to a three hour formation session. We want to acknowledge the important role that support staff play in our parish and school communities and facilitate some further development for those in these roles.

This gathering will be an opportunity for parish staff and school support staff to gather together, share their experiences and learn more about the importance of their role on the parish and school community. We hope this gathering will value and strengthen those in these roles.

Parish Staff and School Support Staff Gatherings will be held in various locations across the Diocese of Palmerston North between April and July 2021. These gatherings will be run twice in each location (morning and afternoon), providing flexibility for attendees and their community/workplace.

Support staff in your parish or school may be working in roles such as:
Parish Office Managers, Secretaries, Librarians, Bursars, Administration Staff, Learning Assistants, Caretakers etc.

Clergy are also most welcome to participate in any of the gatherings.
