This October, something extraordinary is happening.
From across Aotearoa New Zealand, people are gathering for the Hope and Renewal Summit:
- Priests and parish teams
- School and ministry leaders
- Everyday parishioners hungry for more
It’s a moment for the whole Church—not just a few—to come together and rediscover what it means to be a missionary people, alive in the Holy Spirit.
Parish renewal is not optional. It’s essential. I look forward to being with you at the Hope and Renewal Summit as we rediscover our missionary identity and take practical steps forward—together.

You’ll hear from international speakers Fr James Mallon and Matt Regitz, who are helping parishes around the world move from maintenance to mission. But this isn’t just about great talks.
It’s about your parish.

It’s about having time together—with others from your parish or community—to talk, pray, dream, and begin shaping what renewal looks like right where you are.
You’ll be seated in parish groups. Every session will lead into real conversation and real steps forward—because the Church doesn’t need more content. It needs courage, clarity, and co-responsibility.
