Parishes around the world are finding Alpha to be a integral part of renewal, evangelisation and the forming of missionary disciples.

Alpha in a Catholic Context

Hyères Parish's Story
Fr Benoît is the parish priest of Hyères in Provence, France, where he has been running Alpha for many years. Recently, Fr Benoît decided to introduce mid-sized mid-week groups called ‘connect groups’, so that guests could continue to grow in faith after Alpha and to build stronger community within the parish. The Alpha culture is now spreading throughout the parish and Fr Benoît comments that parishioners are more joyful, with a hunger to learn and a greater willingness to get involved and share their faith with others.
